Spread the word—End Corporate Personhood!
Following a weekend of global action in support of the 99%, and much to
the chagrin of the global banking industry headquartered on Wall Street,
last Monday marked the one-month anniversary of Occupy Wall Street.
While pols and pundits complain that the occupiers have no coherent message,
the handmade signs protesters carry tell a different story:
Corporations are not people
Will you help us raise $3000 to print and distribute these signs?
These occupations and protests provide us with an opportunity to reach thousands of non-partisan Americans and to learn exactly what they can do to end corporate personhood.
Each union-printed, paperboard sign measures 12” x 18” and clearly states the solution—END CORPORATE PERSONHOOD!
Click here to help us spread these signs far and wide.
In solidarity,
Move to Amend team
PS - Order your signs (and other Move To Amend materials) here - we are counting on
raising enough money from this email to sell these signs below cost. Please donate now
to help us pay for the printing and distribution of these signs far and wide!

Let's Quit Fretting and Go to Work!
Jim Denton
Democrats need to quit fretting about President Obama being a one term President. We also need to quit being so sensitive just because he did not do exactly everything we wanted him to do the way we wanted it done. Is there any republican you think will do things your way?
Most people realize that President Obama inherited a collapsing devastated economy, two unpaid for wars (which still are costing us young lives and $160 billion a year), all of America's auto companies collapsing, jobs disappearing at the rate of tens of thousands a month, the banking system collapsing and chaos in almost all branches of government. From all of that this nation has started moving forward. Yes it has been a hard struggle and we still need more jobs than our economy can produce.
One of our nation's problems is self made. We have allowed one of our political parties to obstruct our nation's efforts to regain our economic balance and help put our people back to work. That is our fault----we the people must correct that next election. Obstructionist political parties, that caused the problems we face to begin with, have no place in our form of government. We need people in politics that help our country to build for the future not tear our kids' and our futures down.
So, the mission of every Democrat is to get this message out and remind people of the facts. Write Letters to the Editor, e-mails, (so you make some folks mad at you----does it matter if your nation is being sucked back into the right wing turmoil we had before?) attend meetings and get involved. Stay focused on getting our President and Democrats elected to office. Contribute money as you can.
Remember, If you do nothing we stand a good chance of returning our nation back to the type of politicians we had that got us in this mess to begin with---is that what you want?
THEN QUIT FRETTING AND GO TO WORK
